I’ve noticed that in the fall, my style tends be extremely tomboy and this outfit is a prime example of that. Culottes are comfortable and cool. The secret to mastering culottes is balancing the proportions. If the boot tends to be wider, balance the look with a sleeveless top or something form fitting so that the body isn’t so covered. I’ve been loving culottes to transition into the colder months. Since the temperature is still in the high 80’s here in Miami, if I were up north I would love pairing them with a tucked in turtleneck and heeled, ankle boots to keep warm.

I’ve had both this denim button down and lace short in my closet for over a year now and they just don’t seem to go out of style. Both pieces can be used separately, but the combination of lace and denim is a classic for the spring and summer months. This look was perfect for running some errands in the Miami heat and humidity. I paired the two with warm neutral browns, but feel free to add some silver, gold, or bright color to the look; make it yours.

I believe everyone should celebrate Valentine’s Day. You don’t need a man to celebrate because sometimes the best Valentines are your girls. Head out to dinner with your fellow single ladies or have a G.N.I. (Girl’s Night In).

Aside from chocolates, teddy bears and scandalous movies, I am loving this striped combo with pleated shorts! Such a perfect day look that can easily be worn into the night with a pair of nude stilettos. Stripes are a go to pattern any season and these, in navy blue, are a perfect transition color from winter to spring.

So no matter who your Valentine is, pull out your killer dress or sweats and show yourself some love.

Happy New Year to everyone! It’s crazy how fast time is flying and soon before we know it, it will already be 2016. With that being said, my goal is to enjoy and embrace every moment to the fullest, as if it were my last.

This year, my family and I spent the holidays on a farm and disconnected ourselves from the rest of the world. We spent a day in this little community/town, known as “Cauca Viejo,” which is full of houses that have the same construction, however, different accent colors. It was so nice shooting in such a colorful, rustic scenery. On this hot sunny day, I wore a white sheer button down and white sequins shorts. It was a very effortless look that helped me stay cool and chic. I added a minimal pop of color with this side purse and let the colors of the city shine.

If you ever end up in this little town, you have to get a “salpicon con helado”: a fruit salad with a ball of ice cream.. SO GOOD! I’ve gone there many times since I was little and it’s the best. I always get one!

Thank you for all the love and support and stay strong with those new year resolutions.

“Fashion fades, style is eternal.” -Yves Saint Laurent

Many people forget that there is a difference between fashion and style. Fashion is all about the season’s latest and most popular trends, both on the runway and on the streets, but style is much more personal. Style distingushes one person from another. We can both rock the same trend, but in our own ways. Style is our signature.

This fall is brighter than ever. We are used to wearing dark and neutral colors in the fall, but by adding neon to our fall wardrobe, we can stand out instead of blending in. I added a bright yellow blazer to my sheer white tank top and sequins shorts to give it that touch of color it lacked. Whether you sport the neon trend with something as simple as a scared or as bold as an oversized sweater, stay true to your style; stay true to you.
